Declutter For Cash: Ziffit

It's January and know what that means, it's time to save money, clean and declutter the house!

So Today I want to let you all know about Ziffit, I found them last year and they instantly became my favourite declutter for cash app, I compared my basket between Ziffit and Music Magpie and Ziffit came up with a better price for every single item, they also accepted more items than Music Magpie did.

The best thing about Ziffit is they have two minimum quantity options - either 10 items or a total of £5, whereas Music Magpie don't give you the minimum amount of items option, so you have to hit £5 or more, which can take a lot of items when they only pay 10p or so for a lot of them!

The app is very easy to understand and use, you just click the scan button, scan in your books, CDs, DVDs or games, they'll then keep stacking up in your basket until you're ready to trade them in. They even have an option to manually type in your barcodes if something will not scan due to sticker residue or creases.

They have a range of drop off and pick up options to make the process smooth and convenient, these are Collect+ Drop off, DPD Pick Up and InPost Locker Drop off. The amount/weight of what you're selling may determine which options you can use,  Collect+ has a 5kg maximum weight limit and both DPD and InPost have box size restrictions.

Here is my referral link for anyone interested in trying it out!

GPT Game App: Tester Buddy

Tester Buddy * has been my favourite and most used Get-Paid-To game app this month, after only hearing about it around two or three weeks ago i've since downloaded and completed Get Color and Word Farm Adventure, they were both pretty big games with the top task being to reach level 1000, so a bit of grinding is needed but the games are fairly easy and enjoyable.  The only downside to the app is that you can't see what tasks you'll need to complete, or the value of points you'll be paid until you've already downloaded the game, which means if there is a better offer over on Swagbucks *, Freecash * or elsewhere you won't be able to complete it for the higher value as you're already tied to Tester Buddy once you've pressed download.  Last night I started my third game on that app, Playdoku, for comparison it is currently on Swagbucks for £15.80 to complete 2000 levels, on Tester Buddy the same level will reward £46.67, so i'm hoping to complete it. Monzo Bank: Free £5 For New Users

If you sign up to Monzo via my referral link you will receive £5 for free after you use your Monzo card to purchase for the first time (must be within 30 days)! If you're not just interested in the free cash, read a little more below about my experience using this bank. I've been using Monzo for quite a few years now, they're a digital bank with no branches so they pass on those savings to you by offering things like fee free use abroad and cashback offers at specific shops. But as they're a registered bank your money is well protected, much more so than if you use a prepaid travel card whilst abroad. I like to use them for their savings pots so i'm not tempted to dip into them, it keeps the money nice and separate with a label for what i'm saving for in each pot, you can also password protect and lock them to make sure you don't dip in!  I also use Monzo while i'm travelling as they don't charge fees for use abroad, and i'm going to try out t...
